Today Doug and I went riding out towards Milan NH. We rode the Mollidgewalk trail over the slanted bridge and up
to the flat then through the woods and out to Reagan Road. This part of the Mollidgewalk trail had quite a bit of snow
(but watch out for those water bars going up the hill-they are still pretty nasty and we need more snow to fill in). The
part of the trail in the woods has loose snow and lots of lube, but because of the lack of snow it is still pretty rough.
Reagan Road is still a nice ride. We rode North Road to the Black Brook trail and out to ITS 82. We broke
fresh trail out to ITS 82-there is snow out there and needs riders to pack it down! ITS 82 was untouched and we headed
towards New Hampshire. When ITS 82 gets narrow there are some major blow downs-the trail is passable but real tight-go
slow! We entered NH and then picked up the Milan trails which were groomed, with extremely thin cover, small rocks and
snirt. These trail will not take very much traffic as we were making first tracks. Also, signage is very scarce
so you need to know where you're going. We headed back on the Lakeside trail which is a total disaster and I strongly
suggest you avoid this trail if at all possible.
